Countdown....Day 2

Yep... I skipped out on everyone.... including myself...but I am trying to get back on track. 
I decided December first that I would re-commit. I have decided to try a 30 day exercise program that I have on a DVD. I am not sure when I bought it - but I came across an unopened DVD case. My thought was...
 "hmm- I remember buying it some time ago - I have found it for a reason...besides how bad can 30 days be with only 20 minutes a day?"


Well- Two days into it... and I am gonna say- it is kicking my butt!!! Every muscle hurts on some level or another - and oh...can I tell you that those 20 minutes are probably the longest twenty minutes of the day!



The DVD is one of Jillian Michaels' workout DVDs. Jillian became well known because she was a trainer on the TV show "The Biggest Loser". 
The DVD is the "30 Day Shred" that I bought at Costco for less than $8.00 ...however long ago that was!  You can now get it for almost the same price at Amazon.


Stay tuned...let's see how long I can continue to move after doing this DVD each day!!

A Favorite Breakfast...

I decided to take a picture of one of my favorite breakfast meals this morning.
This is a photo of my Veggie Omelet. 

 It includes  zucchini, yellow squash, mushrooms, onions and red bell pepper that have been sauteed ahead of time.
I use 1/4 cup of  "egg substitute" with some spices along with just a teeny bit of  WeightWatchers shredded Mexican cheese that is added after the egg has firmed up in the skillet. I then add the veggies - fold over the egg and serve up on a platter.
You can serve it with a side of salsa or pico de gallo or even catsup.  You can also add sliced apple, some berries or almost any other fruit as a complement  dish and still know that the max points you may have consumed would be 3 points!

The Journey Continues...

I am happy to report another minus sign this week! I did not realize that I have been doing this as long as I have though.
Here is my  Weight Loss chart so far...

I would probably have better results if I actually exercise a bit more. I guess  I can admit that as being a weak link right now. I will need to make a bigger effort to do that this week!

Easy Ways To Exercise...

I have a couple of "hobbies" that also allow me a fun way to exercise.
One of them is"bird-searching".  I use that term because I evidently have a hard time sitting still enough to actually watch for birds.
Here is a meandering that I did today...It is not a true rendition - because I had to actually begin AND end at the car.
